Classic French Dressing Recipe

Traditionally, French Dressing (also known as Vinaigrette) is made using a ratio of three parts oil to one part vinegar, but do feel free to adjust this to your own taste. This is perfect drizzled over a simple green salad, just-cooked new potatoes or green beans.

Ingredients

1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
3 tbsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
Sea Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper, to taste

Method
Simply put all the ingredients into a high-sided bowl and whisk together until combined evenly – or, you can put everything into a clean, empty jam jar, put the lid on firmly and shake it to mix (this is an especially handy option if you plan to use the dressing as part of a picnic spread).
