Pale Ale has a lighter profile, therefore works well with bold flavours such as sharp Glastonbury Twanger Cheddar or hearty Dorset Blue Vinny.
HANLONS SIMCOE IPA
New England IPA | 500ml | 4.3%
The fruity, pacific-based hops in the beer compliment the nuttier taste in Manchego Cheese or Cornish Kern
EXETER BREWERY DARKNESS
Stout | 500ml | 5.1%
Smoothness in Stout, or porter pairs wonderfully with the buttery richness of blues like Colston Basset Stilton.
CROSSED ANCHORS CAB LAGER
Lager | 750ml | 4%
The crispness of a matured, local Lager matches incredibly well with the subtle, sweeter flavours of the well-known Cornish Yarg.
POWDERKEG GREEN LIGHT
1/4 IPA | 330ml | 1.2%
Pair with Somerset Camembert or Westcountry Brie like Cricket St Thomas or Sharpham Brie. Lighter and more citrusy than continental brie, the lighter beer helps boost that flavour, giving the cheese an enhanced taste without ruining it.
