These Lamb and Mint Burgers are hand-made by the Greendale Butchers, using quality, lean meat from Devon-pastured animals, and just enough mint to enhance the rich flavour perfectly.

If you're lighting the barbecue, throw on a couple of these tasty burgers for a quick and easy meal. Simply brush both sides of each burger with olive oil and place over your preheated charcoal or gas-fired grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on either side; check the burgers are cooked all the way through before serving. You can also pan-fry or oven bake them to equally delicious effect.

Store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt, or freeze immediately. Suitable for freezing. All items are labelled with use by dates.

Greendale lamb is supplied by David Lockwood, who farms in nearby Aylesbeare. After enjoying the rich grazing pastures of East Devon, the lambs are carefully selected when they reach the correct weight; they are slaughtered at a local abattoir to keep stress to a minimum. Hung for a minimum of ten days, the meat becomes even more flavoursome and tender. Our master butchers then prepare it on_site at Greendale Farm Shop, skilfully turning it into plump chops, classic roasts, burgers, meatballs and much, much more.

We prefer to use meat from the leaner parts of the animal when we make our lamb burgers – that way, you get all the sizzle and flavour, with less of the fat.
