The seasonal availability of this delicious bird makes it a precious treat to savour during the winter months. Carefully prepared for the oven, these Pheasant Breast fillets can be pan-fried in a flash when you need a warming meal in moments.

100% Local Pheasant

To pan-fry, heat a generous knob of butter and a tablespoon of olive oil in a large, shallow pan. Add the Breast fillets and cook over a high heat for about 30 seconds on each side, then reduce the heat and cook for 5-6 minutes. Cook thoroughly until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork and there is no pink meat.

Store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt, or freeze immediately. Suitable for freezing. All items are labelled with use by dates.

Greendale Pheasant is either shot on Greendale farmland or bought from a local supplier near Crediton, Devon.

Pheasant breast meat tends to be more tender, and more delicate in flavour, than that found on the legs.
