Our Scallop boats are based in nearby Brixham - we take the pick of the catch, so we always have the best scallops on sale. For our thermidor, the roe has been removed, the scallop is cut and mixed with Greendale thermidor sauce, returned to its shell and covered with parmesan, ready for you to bake at home.

Scallop (85%) (MOLLUSCS), MILK, Dove Gluten Free Flour Blend (Rice, Potato, Tapioca, Maize, Buckwheat), Butter (MILK), Onion, White Wine, Garlic, Salt, Black Pepper, Parmesan Cheese, Cows MILK, Salt, Microbial Rennet, Dried parsley.

Place in the centre of a preheated oven at 180 for 15-18 minutes. Take care when handling the shells as they can become extremely hot.

Suitable for freezing. Store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt, or freeze immediately.

Scallops (UK)

Each Scallop has a pair of pretty fan-shaped shells as immortalised by Sandro Botticelli’s painting, The Birth of Venus, between which lie the firm white flesh and the cream and orange coral or roe. Low in cholesterol and high in protein, vitamins and minerals, Scallops are a healthy and delicious treat.

Please note that, because fish and shellfish naturally vary in size, we will always adhere to the pack weights given. At times, for example, one large whole fish will be enough to make up the weight, at other times it may be two or more smaller fish; so, although the number of fish supplied may change between orders, the weight received will always remain the same. Please be aware that a description of a fish as ‘boned’ means that, although the fishmongers will have removed the bones to the best of their ability, we cannot guarantee that any piece of fish will be entirely bone-free.
