This Christmas at Greendale Farm Shop, we’re delighted to be holding our first ever Love Local Christmas Market. Free to enter, the market celebrates brilliant local businesses, with food and drink, gifts, clothing and more on offer - all guaranteed to get you feeling properly Christmassy! Starting on 29th November, the market will run for four weeks, right up to Christmas Eve, with a selection of superb street food on offer each day, including wood-fired pizzas, fresh pasta, corndogs and churros (because shopping is hungry work!). We’ll also be hosting lots of other festive events throughout the season, from our Christmas circus to Santa’s grotto, and selling locally-sourced Christmas trees, too – so why not bring the family and make a day of it?

Bringing together over 65 local producers, the Love Local Christmas Market is a true celebration of the fantastic food, drink and handcrafted produce Devon has to offer. If you’re keen to discover delicious new tastes, you’ll find the likes of Fletcher’s small-batch biltong, Bean to Bar’s organic fairtrade chocolate and Exmoor Distillery’s artisan gin alongside more familiar names, such as Powderkeg, Salcombe Brewery, Sharpham Dairy, Flapjackery and Cherry Tree. As well as food and drink, the market also offers plenty of opportunities to tick a few names off your Christmas shopping list; worlds away from the high street, gift ideas on offer include sterling silver jewellery, hand-thrown ceramics and unique clothing brands, as well as organic skincare, quirky prints and original artworks.

Surrounded by acres of East devon farmland, we take pride in selling meat from our own farmland and fish from our own boats, and believe it’s incredibly important to support the West Country’s brilliant local businesses - by filling our shop with exceptional local produce, we can offer our customers a great choice, support our local economy and keep food miles to a minimum, which is a ‘win-win’ as far as we’re concerned!
