Mulled Wine Cocktail Recipe

The perfect Christmas drink, as it can be made well ahead, then brought out of the fridge as customers arrive – or serve it hot for a traditional winter warmer.

Ingredients

½ bottle Greendale Mulled Wine
- 60 ml Bourbon or Brandy
- 2 Star Anise Pods
- 1 Long strip of lemon or orange peel
- 1 tsp Sugar

Add all of the ingredients to a small saucepan and cook over low heat until warm. Take care to ensure the liquid does not boil. Remove from the heat and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve in small mugs or glass cups, and garnish with cinnamon sticks or dried orange peel (optional).
