Mulled Wine Cocktail Recipe
The perfect Christmas drink, as it can be made well ahead, then brought out of the fridge as guests arrive – or serve it hot for a traditional winter warmer.
Add all of the ingredients to a small saucepan and cook over low heat until warm. Take care to ensure the liquid does not boil. Remove from the heat and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve in small mugs or glass cups, and garnish with cinnamon sticks or dried orange peel (optional).
