Shed 44 Ceramics has been 30 years in the making! Since graduating from Falmouth University the dream has been to have a home studio where I can create and produce ceramics. In 2022 The Shed finally came to fruition, and shortly after came a wheel. The most recent addition of my kiln has completed my home studio and has given me the freedom to create at my own pace and on my own terms. 

My approach is constantly evolving as I hone my personal style. I am influenced by the colours in nature, and form and function working together. I am not a production potter, and no two of my pieces are the same - similar, but definitely sisters, not twins!

The beauty of ceramics is the endless variation to be had, and the tension created when the boundaries between form and function are pushed.

Ultimately, I aim for everything I make to be a pleasure to use as well as aesthetically pleasing.
