Greendale Farm Shop supports RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter
In September, we hosted our annual summer fete and dog show and raised £320 for RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter.
The annual event was held on Sunday 20th September and attracted crowds of visitors and their four-legged friends, with a record number of dog show entries.
The dog show consisted of six different classes: best dressed, waggiest tail, most handsome, most pretty, best rescue and top dog, with all proceeds from the class entry fees in aid of RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter.
We were joined on the day by RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter CEO, Ruth Lowe, who had the very difficult job of helping judge the dog show. Prizes for each class were kindly donated by local businesses and included lots of dog treats, toys and photoshoot vouchers.
On Tuesday 13th October, some of the team travelled to the charity's headquarters to present a cheque for £320. We’re so proud of the team for organising such a great event and their efforts in helping to raise vital funds to help Devon’s animals in need.
