Local Markets: Where to find Greendale Fishmongers
You know the friendly faces behind the fish counter at our farm shop, but did you know our Greendale fishmongers can also be found at local farmers' markets too?
At Greendale, we’re in the unique position of having our own fishing fleet, catching a variety of fish from Westcountry waters, meaning our fishmongers can supply local communities with high-quality, fresh fish and seafood at events like local farmers’ markets.
With many supermarkets now closing their fishmonger counters, we feel it is now more important than ever to hold on to traditional practices and offer our customers the best experience when it comes to buying fish and seafood.
By selling our fish at markets, we are bringing those traditional practices to communities while also championing local food, which can be traced back to the source.
Our fishmongers love being involved in local markets. The team carefully prepares each daily catch for sale and with their years of experience they’re always happy to advise on choosing, preparing and cooking seafood.
