Deliciously different, these Venison Sausages are a cut above the average ‘banger’. Made here at the Farm Shop, they contain offcuts of only prime, lean venison.

Venison (55%), Water (16%),Black Pepper Sausage Flavouring (12%) Breadcrumb [prepared from: WHEAT Flour (WHEAT Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt, Yeast], Salt, Spices (Black Pepper, White Pepper, Ginger), Dried Onion, Starch (Potato), Rapeseed Oil, Stabiliser (E450), Sugar, Yeast Extract, Preservative (223) (SODIUM METABISULPHITE) (SULPHATES), Dextrose, Antioxidant (E300), Natural Hogs Casing (Pork) (Water, Salt).

Warning: some game items may contain shot.

Venison sausages are superb pan-fried, grilled or oven-baked; we also love them braised slowly in a rich, herb-infused red wine sauce, served with piles of buttery mashed potato.

Store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt, or freeze immediately. Suitable for freezing. All items are labelled with use by dates.

Greendale pheasant is either shot on Greendale farmland or bought from a local supplier near Crediton, Devon, while our venison comes from locally sourced deer, their open-air lifestyle and mixed, varied diet imparting delicious flavour to the meat they produce.
