A hearty French-style stew with chicken, mushrooms and bacon braised in a red wine and tomato sauce. 

Serving Suggestion: We like to pair our Greendale Chicken Coq Au Vin with some creamy mashed potatoes and peppery rocket.

Serves 1-2 people.

 

For allergens see ingredients in BOLD: Chicken, onion, mushroom, bacon, beef stock, (tomato, CELERY), red wine (SULPHITES), FLOUR (GLUTEN), salt, pepper.

OVEN COOK: 35 mins, Fan 170°C Electric 190°C Gas 5
Preheat oven. Remove sleeve and film. Cook on a baking tray in the centre of the oven. Ensure food is piping hot, stir well and allow to rest for 1 min before serving.

AIR FRY: 35 mins, Re-Heat Setting / 120°C
Remove sleeve and film. Cook for 35 mins. Ensure food is piping hot, stir well and allow to rest for 1 min before serving.

MICROWAVE: 10 mins, 900W
Remove sleeve, pierce film. Place on microwaveable plate. Cook on full power. Ensure food is piping hot and allow to rest for 1 min before serving.

Previously frozen. If frozen on arrival suitable for home freezing. If item is partially defrosted store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt.
