Letargo Rioja Crianza is a rich, full-bodied wine with notes of prunes, toasted bread, and vanilla, finishing with a sweet, mineral character. The Mateos project, launched over 30 years ago, aims to capture the unique terroir of Rioja, where the climate blends Mediterranean warmth with continental coolness. Oak aging, particularly with American and French oak, imparts distinctive vanilla flavors to the wine, a hallmark of the region's winemaking tradition.
