Fennel has a slight aniseed flavour that works well in salads and adds a special flavour note to cooked dishes – it pairs particularly well with fish. 

Wash before use. Fennel is often used as an ingredient in a stock ‘base’, and can be braised, roast, poached or steamed. It is also delicious eaten raw, sliced thinly and added to salads.

Fennel can be stored in the fridge or frozen.
