Our Smoked Scallops Win Gold

Our Greendale Smoked Scallops have won Gold at the 2025 Food Drink Devon Awards.

This award is one of four our team brought home this year. Alongside the scallops, we also received a Platinum Award for our Greendale Ribeye Steak, a Gold Award for Greendale Farm Shop in the retail category, and a Silver Award for Greendale Fish & Chips. Each award recognises the hard work, passion and commitment to quality that our team brings to everything we do.

Our Gold-winning smoked scallops are responsibly caught by our fishermen off the South West coastline. Once landed, they are expertly prepared and gently smoked over beech chippings in our purpose-built smoker by our talented fishmongers. The result is a delicately sweet flavour with a subtle smokiness that captures the taste of the Devon coast.

We take pride in knowing exactly where our seafood comes from. Our fishing fleet operates under the Seafood Responsible Fishing Scheme, ensuring every catch supports both the local community and the environment.

This Gold Award is a huge honour and we are incredibly proud of the team who make it all possible.
