Ingredients

  • 450g Sausage Meat
  • 4 leaves of Sage, finely chopped
  • 1 large sprig of Thyme (leaves only), chopped
  • 150g fresh Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • 16 rashers Streaky Bacon

Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C (Gas Mark 6) and lightly grease a baking sheet. Put the sausage meat into a large bowl with the sage, thyme, breadcrumbs and egg, add salt and pepper to your preference, then mix together until well combined.

Divide the mixture into 16 evenly-sized pieces, then roll each piece into a ball and wrap a rasher of bacon around it, before placing on the baking sheet.

Cook the balls in the hot oven for 30 minutes, then serve and enjoy!
