HATARI Sparkly Roasted Side of Salmon

This recipe combines the lovely sparkly flavour of the HATARI Mellow Aji Mash with citrussy lemon and umami soy to make an incredibly morish meal! You can wrap in foil and pop on the BBQ as an alternative to baking in the oven! Prep: 10 mins. Cook: 25 mins. Heat Level: Mild

Ingredients

Side of Salmon1

HATARI Mellow Aji Mash1 Large Tbsp

Runny Honey1 Tbsp

1 Tbsp Soy Sauce

Lemon1 Whole Sliced into ½ cm rounds

Salt and pepper to season

Baking Paper

Method
Preheat the oven to 180degrees C. Mix the HATARI Mellow Aji Mash with the honey and soy sauce until mixed thoroughly. Line a baking tray with baking paper with spare baking paper for covering and wrapping. Place the side of salmon in the dish skin side down and brush the flesh with the chilli, soy and honey dressing. Place the lemon rounds evenly across the top of the salmon and season well with salt and pepper. Wrap the salmon securely in baking paper and pop in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove the salmon from the oven and take the top layers of baking paper off so that the salmon is exposed. Pop back into the oven for 5 minutes for the juices to thicken slightly and serve. If you would prefer to cook on the BBQ – wrap the side of salmon in tinfoil instead and place on the BBQ when the coals are white and glowing. Allow to cook for 25 minutes or until the salmon is fully cooked and flakey.
