The process to create this roast all starts with sourcing 'specialty' grade coffees that have been farmed and harvested with great care and attention. Exe Coffee Roasters have chosen the Swiss water decaf process for its pure taste involving only water to filter away caffeine leaving a hoppy taste with notes of malt loaf and wafer.

They took this to the next level in 2015 when they installed their current roaster, the Probatone 12, in their roastery and coffee shop, just down the road from the farm shop in Exeter city centre.
