Fresh Figs are a world away from the dried variety (though they’re just as good for the digestive system); the sweet, juicy flesh is full of tiny edible seeds and has a flavour unlike any other. 

Figs can be eaten skin and all – simply split them open to reveal the flesh inside. Fresh figs complement the rich saltiness of Parma Ham and Blue Cheese beautifully, and can also be baked or poached in wine.

Store at room temperature until ripe, and wash before eating.
