South Devon, England

Tucked away in the beautiful South Hams, South Devon Chilli Farm has grown from small beginnings to become an internationally recognised, award-winning enterprise, thanks to the commitment, expertise and sheer hard graft of Steve, Heather, Martin and Kaz and their dedicated team. The 10-acre farm comprises about 10,000 chilli crop plants (yielding an impressive annual 10-tonne harvest), a show tunnel, a farm shop and a café. All products are made on site, using own-grown chillies; from chilli sauces and preServes to chilli chocolates, unique creations are prepared in the kitchen by Dave, the savoury Chilli Chef, and Lucy and Elsa, the sweet Chilli Chocolatiers. Dried chillies are also prepared for sale, alongside plug plants and growing equipment for customers who are keen to have a go themselves.
